I am trying to make a fake web page on tarantulas for a project in my computer science class. One of the things i am making up is that the way to tell the difference is in the fangs. Female's are straight down so they can quickly bite down and eat the male right after mating, and males' are like true spiders' fangs. Could someone provide me with a closeup of a true spider's fangs and give me permission to use it? This page will not be on the internet for people too look up and get the wrong information btw.

This is, quite simply, not true.

If it's just for a school project why not google an image and quote the site in a bibliography either at the end of the page or on a seperate page with a small link to it in the bottom of the main one?

ah yes...spreading misinformation, how educational :( Snipes, you already know how much false information is out there regarding tarantulas and invertebrates in general. Why would you want to perpetuate it? I find that kinda irresponsible...but that's me.

em edesign, its only for an assignment. It wont be available to the public. It would have a productive effect anyways. Anyone who looks at the page would know that the information there is false (we have to make a banner to put on their saying so) so my professor when he grades it can look at the information and because he knows the information is all false, he can learn something good. If i say, "there are many deaths each year caused by tarantulas", then he knows that either the truth is that few or no deaths each year are caused by tarantulas.
