the walnut shells was from the pet store. Then I moved to coco husk. now i have a finer coco huck that hold the moisture better.

I don't have any experience with coco husk, but I suggest coco fiber. It is much more fine and does a great job holding humidity. I also believe it does well in promoting burrowing and looks more natural as well.

As in age we can never be totally sure, but yours look like a full grown adult because the bulb on it's tail is dark brown. If it was milky white then it would've been a juvie.
