Just thought I'd post some pics of my three girls.....enjoy.
It was feeding time for her, so she was out looking for some munchies. She's usually not too bad about that as long as she doesn't feel any air currents on her, like if I accidently exhale while looking at her with the top open. The one where she's rearing up, I went to get a superworm that was burrowning out of site and accidently cornered her and she let me know she was NOT happy about that. I had actually put the camara in the tank above her to get the pic and she reared up at it as well....made a great pic, but did startle me a bit!Nate said:How did you get the picture of the N. chromatus?
Mine always darts into its burrow the moment I come close to it's cage.
WOW.....you know I've really just kept T's as pets, but have secretly wanted to breed them. Hate just having an animal that just sits in a tank and just gets old and dies.PINK1081 said:Is your girl (chromatus) looking for love!!!!! Hmm... interesting. What's the current size of your sweet one?davegrimm1 said:Thats weird, My chromatus is one of the tamest spiders I have. I have picked her up many times and she is not jumpy and completely docile.
I didn't even know that they were suposed to be aggresive until a month ago when someone lold me they were. I too have been telling people that is was extremly docile. I guess I should tell people that mine is docile from now on ,but don't count on it for other individuals
