WOW, they look awesome! I love the Albino Tangerine Honduran as well. Whats the care for these guys? Would you recommend them as pets?

Care is very simple for them. They can thrive in the exact same conditions as Corn Snakes. I keep mine in rubbermaid tubs (secure ones, they are escape artists) with shredded aspen substrate....water dish, temps of 75-85F.

They make great pets....as babies they can be a little flighty or nippy but are not nearly as likely to crap all over you like other Milks (Pueblans are especially bad at crap-flinging lol).

Awesome snakes David! Where'd you get the Tangerine Honduran Milk? I'm looking to get one soon, but need to find a reliable source.

Thanks! The Tangerine came from a friend of mine.

I believe there are several reputable Honduran breeders in California. Check out the Kingsnake.com classifieds and then you can look for reviews on them on the Fauna Classifieds BOI (Board Of Inquiry).

I have never had a corn snake:eek: Would they make good pets for a beginner? I have been reading some info online. Does the Mexican black king require the same care, as the Honduran? Thanks for the help!!:) Im really considering one of these guys :D

Yes, both the MBK and Honduran would make excellent beginner snakes.

Just remember that young ones can be a little flighty. Some may bite, some may poo when you pick them up, but they grow out of that if you handle them gently and regularly.

And yes, the MBK can be kept the same as the Honduran. Both are very hardy, rewarding snakes to keep (not to mention addicting!) :)
