Very nice corn! They always look their best after a shed. I use all kinds of things for my snakes: flowerpot saucers (snakes love this), hamburger helper boxes, pasta boxes, cereal boxes, frozen dinner boxes, milk cartons and toilet paper rolls, etc...It's a good way to recycle, and has worked very well for me. It's a good way to save money and recycle at the same time. The snakes seem to enjoy using them quite a bit. Just make sure the snakes can fit snugly in whatever you give them, it gives them a great sense of security. Your castle should work just fine, but if you don't want it to get soiled by the snake, then I wouldn't use it.
