Hello! New to this board but have kept wide variety of animals. I've been getting back into husbandry and bought a tailess whip scorpion last week. Now the issue has already occurred and the animal has unfortunately died. I'm not entirely discouraged but would really like to figure out care here as it seems most of these arthropods are commonly identified incorrectly. One picture attached is the scorpion but based on online ID it feels as if this is not the correct species. The terrarium itself is tropical/subtropical with arboreal areas of cork bark. The live plants were taken from lowes but very thoroughly washed and rinsed with water and all tracks of perlite removed from roots. Humidity stays about 70% while temp is at 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit(heat mat used as gradient). I can post pictures of the setup later on.
