Phormictopus sp sabah blue????

Anyone have any experience with this sp? Search results = 0

I am cautious with any sp T for all I know it could really be a sp Dominican Purple.

I've been wanting a T from the Phormictipus genus for a long time this one caught my attention.

I am not mistaking this genus for Phormingochilus aka Phormingochilus sp sabah blue.

There is no such species. Someone labeled something incorrectly or got mixed up.

This is interesting because it's a long time breeder selling it from their personal collection.

I was/am skeptical that it could be a mistake made by the seller.

I am going to contact them to get clarification.

Why I hate common names and made up names after the sp in undescribed tarantulas

That's all messed that "name".

I got all excited when I seen this seller have it listed for sale from their personal collection thinking it was an ultra-rare tarantula being offered. Part of me was saying there's a Phormingochilus sp. "Sabah Blue" but never heard of this Phormictipus.

Common made up names, locale and color names mean nothing to me. If I didn't go to a locale myself and witness particular T's there then how do I really know.

This seller has made typo's in the past with wording but not genus and species names so this will be a first which I suspect it is

Seller confirmed it is a typo and I fully understand why they made a typo with what they have going on in their life at the moment. The seller is going to make the correction.
