Phormictopus Sp. Hasn't Webbed?

I've had my juvenile Phormictopus Sp for about 3 months, and she's spent a majority of that time in the same enclosure. She settled into her hide quite fast, but she hasn't laid down any webbing. The only hint of web I've seen is when she used some to clump dirt together to block off the entrance to her hide as she molted. I've tried looking into if this is normal for her species or not, but I mostly just see posts and threads about the species temperament. Anybody else have a phormictopus Sp. who just refuses to web? Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

If you're expecting to have a webbed up enclosure for a Phormictopus then you hadn't researched enough.

I'm not expecting it to be webbed up, I was just wondering if its normal for there to be a complete lack of webbing

A Phormictopus isn’t a Chilobrachys/M balfouri/N incei. You won’t notice as much webbing with many larger bodied NW terrestrial Ts (apart from a couple like GBB’s).

Webbing often depends on setup but for this genus it doesn’t web much

My P sp Dominican purple has never webbed much at all. I see a few strands on the leaves near her hide and dirt/web ridge reducing the opening of her hide. That’s it.

OK OK yes phormictopus can web, its not unnheard of but if your little one has dug n is well fed there is no reason for your phormictopus to web 😊 n every spood is different. I keep 5 sp out of phormictopus now n only 2 webbed but did so before they burrowed n didnt web now they have rest dug no webbing. It really is down to set up and the individual t 😊.

They don't web much they're usually too busy bullzdozing dirt around the enclosure, filling in their water dish. To annoy you and get your attention so you'll drop in another roach for them lol. All they care about is FOOD

Mine only web right before a molt. It's a little mat they lay on. My 6 inch girl just did that last week. I'd imagine they kick some hairs onto that as well. Ant protection in the wild.

My Dominican Purple hasn't webbed at all! Its barely dug, doesnt use the pre-made burrow I made for it either. Its only made a moulting mat once and it was very small. Many Ts aren't actually big "webbers." The web most Ts make is for holding balls of dirt together to build their hides/burrows out of. My l Parahybana does this. No visible web but I can see in the various piles of dirt its made a bunch of web.
