I think I already anwered these questions in another thread but ok - here it is again. I kept Phoneutria sp. since april last year. I keep em pretty much like an arboreal tarantula. Lots of hiding places (cork leaned against the walls) makes good hiding spots for them, and a few cm of peat as substrate. Spray the cages once a day. Around 25c temperature. Humidity? Dont know, its not really that important - they are hardy spiders. I feed them alot, crickets, roaches and pinkies. They do take the insects straight from the tweezers sometimes - very good eyesight indeed.Originally posted by ChoJinn
i had a mated pair of p.fera and a spiderling p.nigriventer - i miss them! Super cool spiders i must say. Crotalus, how long have you had yours, and how do you keep them (enclosure, food etc)?
