Hey Gavin, great photos as usual. How long did you wait before you pulled the sac from the mom? Great picture of her with the sac btw. :)

Oh no, I can't take any credit; she was collected with the sac. I'd actually planned on keeping the sac with the mother and letting nature take its course, but not before peeking into the sac to see what stage the babies were at. Unfortunately the moment I tore a little hole in the silk the first instars began pouring out.

Hehe, awesome. :D I'm surprised she didn't ditch or eat the sac after being collected and transported. Must be a really good mom. :)

Indeed, as I tugged at the sac with tweezers she very stubbornly refused to let go! Even posed for the camera with the sac as you can see in the photo :D

A great mother.
