Hello there.

I've got a female PR, she's a bit old but still moves around sometimes just not so energetic.
A month ago I tried cleaning her enclosure and accidentally destroyed her hammock. I've got 2 extra hides for her in the enclosure but she doesn't seems to like them.
Few days ago I saw her try to climb on a part of the enclosure that was clean from silk and anchors.
I saw her trying to put an anchor but there was no silk coming out. Kept looking since then and it seems she can't make any more silk or something.

Is that possible? Is it normal for old jumpers? Can I do something about it?
Any help appreciated.

EDIT: I saw somewhere that they might stop producing silk if they stop eating. Mine hasn't eaten for about 2-3 weeks though and hell abdomen is normal to big size. I offered her a worm again today though and seems like she wasn't hungry.

Pics might help, but sounds like it just might be close to it's time.
I have a big old girl, she can still climb, but sleeps a lot more and hangs in her hammock a lot. She was my 1st, so will be sad to see her go. Wish they lived longer.

I can post a cute picture of her but in the situation I don't think it will give any more information other than she can't produce any more silk.
But yeah she's sleeping quite a lot, she doesn't drink or eat too much.
It's a real shame their lifespan is so short. I just want to make her last months feel good and be confortable.
