Hello there!
I got some P. carneus juvies in summer, never had them, but I’m trying to breed them, since I’m having no troubles with P. regius.
Look at them they’re gorgeous! Need many of them. <3
I’m living in Germany and they are pretty new here and hard to get. I’m struggling to find some informations about them at all besides some generell things which are not helpful.
I kept some jumpers before and I know they are supposed to be smaller then P. regius, but how could I tell they’re adult now, besides the the size?
Does somebody have a picture of both adults for me? Maybe with a size comparison? This would be so awesome!
My males have their bulbae at their pedipalps - despite one which choose to loose both his pedipalps at his last shed. And he has max. 1 shed left as I think for now. So he is already in retirement.
I know as well that the bulbae can be seen one shed before the last at P. regius. Is it the same with them? I’m so unsure!
I don’t have the time to hope watching them doing a spermweb in front of my eyes. Which they will obviously not do because dayactiveness - when I have to work, gnnnnnnnmsgdvrjshdv!
I mean I know time will tell. But then I try and one of her tries to eat one of them because she’s not ready…Not that they are particular feisty with that but I don’t want to risk anything for nor reason. I mean they are my babyboys - my babygirls can’t eat them. They will go for retirement too.
And when they get close to adult they can take quite some time for their next shed. I’m lost. As I had been with my first jumpers and telling if they are really adult too.
That’s understandable isn’t it?
thanks a lot for every help already!
Kind regards Marie
