I've never breed them, but I know the male will mature and die at the end of the fall season. That's what happened to mine. But the female will seal themselves inside a coocoon during the late fall and come out when the whether is warm again.
The care really ( from my personal limited experience ) is keeping them in the smallest kritter keeper that you can find or a small jar with a few twigs and leaves for them to hide and give them one or two small well fed and watered crickets every week. This species eat a lot, and seem to be able to metabolize food really fast. I've noticed a considerable shrinkage in just a week, either that or they spin a lot of silk, which I've noticed. Anyway, you should feed it one or two small well fed and watered cricket every week. And they seem to get all the moisture they need from the food they eat. If you are worried, you can mist the cage with water or just sprinkle in the cage with your hand. They seem to drink like that, also, which I have tried. i've never really watered mine and it's fine.
