Hey everyone,

In the past few weeks, my little dude's kiwi butt has inflated. I am paranoid that his could be due to compaction, but this is the first female regius phiddipus I have owned, so I am unsure if this would be her natural size? I received her back in April so she is around 6 months old. I have pictures of her here as well as a picture of some poop in her feeding tray. I know that tarantula poop is white, but my little dude's poop has freckles. Is this also normal?

If this helps as well, she is fed wax worms/wax moths, meal worms and small, juvenile black crickets. She only eats every 6-8 days too.

Thanks for any advice given 🙏🏼🙏🏼

If she’s an adult, she likely has eggs. And that is why her abdomen is large. Jumping spider poop is like bird poop, where it is a white liquid with solid dark colored stuff too.
