Hello there! First time Phiddipus Reg. (Female) owner and I haven’t seen her for about a week now. I know females tend to stay in their nest a lot… but…. I offer her food, but she doesn’t come out of her hammock and she’s sooo bundled up in her nest that I can barely see her. At what point to I start to check to see if she’s alive? 🥺😔

Please help, and thank you in advanced!!🙏🏽

Leave it. Even if it were dying in there. Nothing you could do about it unfortunately

Could be laying an egg sack, or molting. Don’t disturb her or the enclosure. Continue to spray but don’t offer food unless you actually see her out of the nest.

So I FINALLY SAW HER! 😭 But this is the most she’ll come out. She hasn’t eaten since 10/26. I offer her food, but she’ll just look at it and then go back in her nest. I left prey in her enclosure (supervised) for about 20min and she did not budge from her nest. I’m worried, she’s not eating.

She pokes her head out of the nest, but doesn’t fully come out. Should I only offer her food when she’s fully out? Thank you so much in advance!

Pictures? She could be on a sac.
I posted a picture, it’s sort of hard to see her nest bc she Made it in a tube thing

Only offer food if she is fully out
Okay, will do! Thank you for this! Just so worried that she’s not coming out and/or eating. How long can she go without food? She hasn’t eaten since 10/26z

That’s no big deal. They can go a really long time without eating. Even over a month. Also, if she is pre molt or laying an egg sack she may not eat for a long time. She will eat if she is ready to.

When she's hungry enough you'll know, she'll come fully out like the others said. Sometimes during colder weather or seasons they'll make their sacks and stay in them a little bit longer. A week without food is no big deal though I wouldn't worry about it too much.
