Hi,

About a week back my female huntsman, Rhitymna sp. built a false eggsac and has since been holding on very tight. She has not fed since and I was wondering should I remove it or will she eventually discard it?

Cheers,

ant.

Just a question, what makes you think it is false?

I dont have much experience with huntsman, but she will probably drop it if the sac is infertile.

Takes about a week on average for huntsman to give up on bad eggsacs. It's obvious when they do, they'll hang on the opposite side of the cage and won't go near it if you bother the cage at all.
