Hey Guys!

I went to LPS today, and I SWEAR I was just going in for crix(lies ;-D). Walk over to the tarantula displays, and what do I see? A PZB mislabeled as a rosehair. So, a 3.5 inch PZB for 15 dollars was too good of a deal! Funny thing is, this LPS(i'm new to the area, but I think i like this one!), has an employee who really cares for her arachnids, and knows them like the back of her hand. She knew why I wanted that particular spider, even explaining that it had to be sold as what the dealer said it was. So we exchanged knowing lil winks and I took it home! So, I guess I can add PZB to my list!

sweet find, im a sucker for stuff like this. After working pet stores for near 7 years ik all the pitfalls of dealer mislabeling. Now i just go to LPS looking for mislabeled things. Stick it to the evil(imo) industry!

Thanks guys! I really wanted a PZB for a while, and my jaw about hit the floor when I saw this. I'm STILL excited! Coolest part was, They saved her last molt, so I got to sex it as well. This just made my week! Saturday I'm going to pick up two A.Minatrix, so I'm excited about that as well!

That`s awesome. That is a great find and you will like the PZB as they are usually a very mellow spider.I have one that is very mellow and one of my favorite T`s.

Thanks for that, I had to look it up. Great, another stripe-kneed T to confuse me

Not many pics of 'em, are they rare? $15 for a juvie/subadult non-g. rosea spider is a good deal by any stretch. Nice find :)

I know when i was looking for one they were not that available, and i believe i found one breeder that had them. One of those T`s that you buy when you see available or you might be in for a long wait.

Congratulations on your super-find!!!
They are gorgeous

............... I wonder what's up with this stupid
'has to be sold as what it's labeled' rule...
I mean that's just not smart in any way at all, not for the buyer-
not for the store not for anyone..
I don't get it.
Who sets these ridiculous ground rules?
Imagine doing research on Ts and deciding a rosea's a good first T
for your kid, then going into some bootleg pet-stop and finding a
beautifully bright orange phase specimen (OBT),
and going home with it only to have something unexpected happen..
ayyyy yay yay...

(No hi-jack intended by the way)..

That's really cool, especially that employee.

You've got me thinking of waltzing into the LPS to see what tarantulas they have there on my way to work.
