Not sure if this belongs in terrariums/vivs but I don’t want invertebrates so I’m posting here.

I’ve got a fair bit of experience with a wide range of pets, so experience level shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

So I’ve got a 15 gallon, 24x12x12. Looking to put a vertebrate in it. No aquatics or semi-aquatics, and preferably something that doesn’t need heat as I’m trying not to plug anything else into my pet room.
So no lights, no heat, nothing that plugs in. I know virtually all reptile would need temperature gradient so I’m mainly looking at amphibians. Right now I’m almost deciding on a chubby frog but they’re mostly wild caught and I don’t like that so I’m hoping there’s something else. Temps in my room are 73-79 F (22- 27 C) with nights drops as low as 68 F (20 C).

Soooo what do ya got for me, if anything?

I'd say one of more heat tolerant species of tiger salamanders, like a barred tiger salamander, but the majority of those are WC as well. Still though, they are very endearing and goofy amphibians.

Thanks,

Sounds cute! I’d like to avoid WC as I mentioned and you already know but I’ll add this to the list of options. Thanks!
