which is better for a sling .5 inch grammostola pulchripes?

or a combo of both?

I used to use 100% peat and never had problems, but now its hard to find peat so i've been using the eco earth and have had no problems, coco fiber should work well. Its really your preference.

Yeah they are both fine. Use whichever you already have or is easiest for you to get.

I've used both, and they're both good substrates. I only use straight peatmoss now simply because its MUCH cheaper.

Coco is more absorbent and holds water better but peat is more resistant to mold, fungus and bacteria. Neither one matters a bit with a 1/2" sling.
