Paul has been in hiding for the last three months. I tried opening the burrow and leaving a prekilled bug for them. The bug stayed there and the burrow was reclosed. I took the hint. Paul is in their moody teenage phase right now I think. I hope to see them soon. Photo of a box of dirt.

Paul made a brief appearance yesterday, sticking their little toesies outside their burrow and quickly pulling them in again when I went for a second look. Today, I was looking at the GBB - Tin-Rex when I saw some movement in Paul’s enclosure. The shy guy was running looking for their burrow because I finally caught them out again. Eventually they scrambled in giving me only a couple chances to get some pictures. For being brown, Paul has some amazing richness to their coloring.

It’s been very active, doing a lot of dirt moving but it hasn’t burrowed yet. I’ll see if it needs time first then maybe move it to something deeper.
