Despite their reputation, in my experience warrior beetles are not such ferocious hunters. I started by feeding dubias, hornworms, crickets etc but they seemed more apt to run away because the prey touched its leg or something rather than try to eat it... I was having trouble assessing when they were actually eating. I've had more luck with the things I put in the enclosure for the isopods (the tank the warrior beetles are in has some "overflow" isopods from other split cultures lol). They seem to love cooked sweet potato and will eat dog food, but they absolutely LOVE when I throw them a deceased aquarium fish. By which I mean a pretty small sized fish that is completely consumed to its little bones within 24 hours, because I'd imagine a dead fish sitting in a closed box for long would have terrible consequences...

Anyway, what kinds of foods do you feed your Pasimachus sp.?

I have two, and when I had them in a smaller container they did fight, though never seemed to do any real damage to each other. Now they are in a container about the size of a 5 gallon aquarium. There are many hiding places and substrate for digging. I rarely see them interact with each other now.
