this is my first scorpion its a paravaejovis spinigerus temps kept at 85-90f at the back and 75f at the front with 40-50% humidity. i belive its been stuck in molt like that for around 3 days now ive been leaving it undisturbed but im worried its stuck in its molt. Should i just leave it to maybe molt or should i intervene and try and help with cotton ball and tweezers.

Is there any Movement at all to suggest it is molting?
if so, let it molt on its own.

Doesn't look to be molting, do you have a picture of its face? has it moved at all?

it has moved around alot in its tank. vaejovis.jpg
vaejovis2.jpg I have seen it move around the tank alot it usually stays near that heating pad or at the front hide where its a bit cooler. Its been about 6-8 days since i took that first picture in the thread its also refused food for 3 weeks which is why i though it was in premolt and had starting molting.it is also wild caught not sure if that plays a part. sorry if the pictures are bad quality I do not have a very good camera

3 weeks without eating isnt anything to be concerned about, honestly looks like its just warming itself next to the heat pad. Is the heat pad new? or has that been there all 3 weeks? It does look like it's not an adult yet so it might be molting soon.

Scorpions can and regularly do go a month or longer without food, very hardy animals

If a scorpion can it will go up to about a year without food. Not recomend by any means but yours looks like it's plus and is just livin. Once you start seeing the metasoma seperate that's a sign to slow down feeding. An over fed scorpion will have problems molting. Make the environment warm and adapt the humidity levels with comfortable places to hide incase there is a future molt and it will have a good molt. Sometimes you can notice them get a little darker or lighter and can tell when they are getting ready to molt out. It's good to take photos before and after to see for certian signs. That's what I have been doing and can tell almost right away if they are ready.

Slight update she been acting normal i wasnt to worried about her refusing food i just figured she might be in premolt and that was as to why she was refusing food. She looks about the same as the pictures i posted last week and she hasnt been acting any differently so i assume she isnt ready to molt just yet. I do keep this communally with another i believe it is sub adult male i know they are not known to be communal but i have had not noticed any aggression between them in the 2 and half months ive had them. They often just avoid each other as there are many hides for them. The times i have seem them near each other i have not noticed any aggression towards each other.
