Anyone know the ld50 of parabathus vollosus and the maximum size? I've read 11.5 cm but they gotta get bigger than that thanks
Venom studies on Parabuthus is very neglected because granulatus and transvaalicus are the only two causing human fatalities. There could be other Parabuthus species causing human fatalities but the records are sorely lacking another problem is subSaharan Africa is also sorely lacking in epidemiological surveys and case studies of scorpionism.Thank you. I don't doubt it. A lot in this family have a 20ishmg/kg ld50
So where did you get yours? Do you have to ship them from overseas? I can't find them anywhere, just transvaalicus and I've already had one of thoseGranulatus are comparable to transvaalicus in size. Very few if any keepers in the last 10 years have had granulatus in the U.S.
My mature female was a tad smaller than my transvaalicus females.
My mature male Granulatus was large
