Back in October I started keeping wasps (I know it's a bad time to start but it just kinda happened). I had four until I froze them for Christmas break. Only two came out of hibernation. One died soon after waking up. This left me with my original, who seems fine except I may have broken its foot cuz the hind right foot doesn't work right.
I put a couple more in there that I found in January on a warm day. They get along ok, and but none of them are building a nest. I have cardboard, wood, and even paper towels in there, but they just won't build. I just read that they build on south sides of structures so I changed it a bit, but I don't know what else to do. Do you have any ideas?
