Pandinus Imperator growth rate?

I picked up young emperor a bit over a year ago. He will be turning 2 years old next month. He is 2 inch+ pedipalp to stinger. How long will it take for him to reach his max size? I've read they only live around 6-8 years. Will he be near the end of his days when he gets big? He's only molted once so far since he's been in my care.

Depending on temperature and feeding it can definitely take a while. I had a trio of babies a while back that only molted two or maybe three times in a 2.5 - 3 year period of time.

It's one reason why we have multiple.

My P. Imperator has been in "Pre-molt" since October. He doesn't eat, he doesn't patrol. he is just bunkered down, he moves a little (only reason I know he is still alive) They aren't very fast growers, just gotta be patient.

Finally he had his second molt! About time.... I would take a picture but I don't wanna pick up his hide and have him start tripping out.
