Pandinus cavimanus breeding help

OK i have had my two red claws for 6 months and i have a male and a female. i want them to breed i got them from the same place offline. so what can i do to get them to breed they are in the same tank 24/7 the tank is a 20 long so plz help any help will help :?

If you have had the female and male together for 6 months, they probably bred a long time ago and she will not breed again until she has her babies. Their gestaion lasts up to around a year so you might have a wait ahead of you.

Forgive this question if you have been in the hobby for a long time, but did you provide a flat surface for them to mate on in the cage?

What temps are you keeping them at?

the temp is 85 and 70 -75 at night

my bad i dont think i have a flat surface but i dont know what you consiter as a flat surface. if i can find how to post pics i will.

I believe the male has to have a flat surface to put the sperm depositor on. Try tossing in a flat piece of slate or something for a while and see what happens.
