They are inactive, but I was just wanting to note. The size of enclosure depends on if its a female or a male. Females growing bigger(even some growing up to 8inches) that being said. If it's a large 8inch female-- you may want to get something that's 24Lx15w. They may not move much--- but they still move every couple hours to change spot.

IF you use a heat mat I would like to say this--- they like to dig. So make sure that at the bottom of the tank there's large river rocks(atleast an inch) so that they don't ever touch the glass where the heat mat is. I'd prefer to use a heat bulb to be honest. It's more natural that heat comes from above.

I wouldn't feed mice at all... Not even as a treat. Crickets and locusts are healthy. But some frogs cannot catch them. So try a staple of earthworms(red wrigglers are fine), pheonix worms and such. Wax worms are full of fat so try feeding them as a treat. Meal worms, and super worms are hard for them to digest.

Earthworms are high in proteins, while the pheonix worms are high in calcium and nutrients.

you shouldn't be feeding anything you caught around your house. since they could come in contact with chemicals. Sometimes they could track it on them and you won't even know. Most wild caught stuff carries parasites and could infect your frog. So it's better to be safe than sorry. And even if you don't use chemicals around the house-- your neighbors could and mostlikely do....
