I think the only available morph is albino. I know that LLreptile has them for sale from time to time.

I've never heard of a red color morph for Horned frogs. Would you post a pic?

There are 2 commonly available species -

C. cranwelli (most common, depending on location)

C. ornata (common as well, grow larger than cranwelli)

Also, there are albinos of cranwelli commonly available (I believe there MAY be albino ornata available, but not sure).

Then there are the so called fantasy frogs, these pacs are a crossbreed between cranwelli and ornata, cranwelli and cornuta or ornata and cornuta. Coruta are known as the Suriname Horned Frog and are more uncommon. Fantasty frogs are sterile, but have brilliant coloration (and the cornuta crossbreeds have beautiful horns, since cornuta have larger ones in the first place).

There is also C. calacutta or something of the sort, but I have never seen it for sale, as well as C. aurita (the largest of the pacs) but it is extremely rare in the U.S.

I have owned cranwelli, ornata and cornuta, they are great animals!!!!

I've heard that all albinos are cranwelli. Is that true?
I have heard the same thing and I think there may be validity in the statement, however it doesn't mean that there are NO albino ornata because albinism can occur in any of the species. It is just not common in the trade.
