Pac-Man frog humidity

Hi everyone - I've seen other questions about this on this forum but can't quite find a match to the problem we are having: our pacman frog is lethargic, hasn't eaten in a while.... from what I've read/understand, this could be because he is drying out and possibly going into hibernation (though I think there is a different term). We had him in a 12x12x12 but with the mesh top, didn't feel like the moisture kept in. So we've moved him to a smaller bin and installed a hydrometer. In the smaller (maybe 12x8 and about 6 or 8" tall) bin, the humidity seems to stay - it shot up to 100% quickly so we allowed some to escape before moving the frog in. Now, it hovers where we want it - between 70-80 - but if we put the top on, it creeps up toward 90 so we open the top a bit to allow some humidity out... we've been doing this back and forth for two days - and in that time, haven't sprayed any more at all. The substrate feels dry to me. I can't figure out if this is ok or not? He is still buried and still won't eat. Help?

Hi, Phillip. I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your Pacman, but it does happen--But if possible, may I ask what temperature you're keeping you're Pacman in? Temperature is also an important factor to consider when dealing with amphibians as incorrect temps can stress them out and lead to food refusal. I'm still unsure as to what the issue is with the Pacman, but without images of the pacman, it will be difficult to discern just exactly what is wrong. If you could take pictures of the frog and the set up as well, that would be extremely helpful.

From my experience, Lethargy can be caused by numerous issues when it comes to Pacmans. So, an image and further details to help round down the possibilities as to why he isn't eating would be appreciated. (Being buried is normal for these guys, they love to remain buried and ambush prey as sit and wait predators)
