Does anyone know the lifespan or growth rate of male and female for this species?

Got my suspect female as a 1cm sling last July, she's about 2 inches or so now, she's growing faster than my B. albopilosum (Nicaraguan form) but slower than my H. maculata (both comparison slings received at the same time and size).

Not sure about life expectancy, I'd guess 10-15 years.

Mine has been molting monthly like clockwork, it's only gotten to about a quarter inch though after a few months of keeping.

Slings grow reasonable fast but growth rate slows way down once they hit the larger juvenile stages. I've got a male who's about 4 years old and not mature yet.

My observations are the same as @Greasylake.. Relatively slow growers.. I received 1 inch slings two years ago and both just hit the 4inch mark.. They allways rip there molts but based on ventral sexing, one looks to be male and one female.. My suspect female just molted monday and the suspect male is still eating ( literally right now, I fed the hord about half an hour ago,Lol) but looks pre-moltish.. He has allways molted before her by a a few weeks to a month+ as they have gotten larger so,I'm guessing this is his ultimate or penult molt.

Unfortunately without having a mature sazamai of both sexes I can't answer your question exactly.. If I'm right and this male matures I would say 2-4+ but that's guessing based on my huntch. So yea..

I can tell you after raising my two they are slower growers.. Just for the record my temps are allways low- mid 80s reaching 90 on somedays for a few weeks a year. I'm also a habitual over feeder..The only one that is worse is @Sana Her pokies butts rival that of AF T.stirmi :angelic:... My point is even under warm and plentiful conditions they grew relatively slow.

I have four. Two currently around 2" and two 3"ish. I'd describe them to be moderate/slightly slow growers and seem to be going with what @boina said. Taking more time between molts as they grow.

They slow down like crazy after they hit about 3 inches. I mean, like, Grammostola slow. I don't think either of mine have molted in 2018.

All this talk about growth rates without providing the OP temps, frequency of feeding, type of prey, and quantity of prey when fed, is the best way of providing info.

It's a 5/16" sling. I cut a cricket in half about once or twice a week to feed to him. Temp ranges between 65 and 80.

In my experience I'd say they have at least medium growth rate.
I got a juvenile pair in July, the male has molted a few days after I got them and molted again this month,
so it molted on 7/13 and 9/11, he's now ~10 cm legspan, female only molted once on 8/27 but she seemed quite freshly molted when I got her, her abdomen was small and colors vibrant, she's just a bit larger than the male.
I also have 2 tiny slings (bought them as L1) they are molting about every month or so, I don't have exact dates for them cause they burrowed.
Temperature in my T room gets quite high during summer, around 27-28 celsius
