Hiya everyone! One of my P.regius has been snapping its prey for the last couple days. I was wondering wether it was snapping it because it was too big or because it is in pre-molt. It has been staying in its web more often lately. It is currently 4th instar and I offer it pinhead crickets. Although it is bigger than its abdomen, some P.regius of mine have accepted pinheads at 3rd instar before. I am conflicted right now because I'm really unsure wether it is truly in premolt or if the prey is too big for it (and also for reassurance from more experienced jumper keepers bc I've been keeping that specie for around 2 months only) Thank you loads😊

If not taking it, just don’t feed for a while. It’ll be fine.

Who knows- pay attention to its behavior and change YOUR behavior :bored:

Sounds like it’s telling you it’s not interested in prey at the moment.
