jose...... ? for you .......I have read here and there and some people say the rule is if it has a white band/stripe its female......how true is that? if at all?

I my self have seen both.....but wanted to see what others/you thoughts or know of this

Are you referring the ventral white banding? If so I have never heard of that. Truly I don't believe it is true. From what I remember the male has the white banding also, so I have always seen them on the females and on the males. Probably some people bought fasciata thinking it was regalis and I can see than why they thought their male had no white banding.
