So yesterday evening, I was preparing for some Avicularia breeding, when I noticed something crawling around inside my MF P. murinus' enclosure. It turned out to be an ant! I know almost nothing about local insects (except the dreaded phorid flies), so I could not identify the ants. The enclosure was infested with them (very small, almost like ants I have found around my coffee cup on the balcony). I took the enclosure into the bathroom, and proceeded to check on the rest of the kids. No one else had any evidence of ants. It was quite odd. I asked the advice of another hobbiest, and was told to remove and rehouse her, so these are pictures I managed to get during rehousing. She was not very happy, but I can't say that I blame her.
Can't you see that I was napping?
All I asked was for five more minutes mom!
Alright, now that I'm awake I'll allow one picture, then it's time for a coffee break.
