(1) The male was in with the female for about 4 weeks but as I guessd they hadn't doen anything so I removed the male then she hevely webbed up her tank (like it wasn't allready) I then decided to placed the male in with the female again and this time I'm happy with the results.

The male began to vibrate himself. Soon the female responded by drumming back then she advanced to the of the web where the male was waiting.

(2) The male took hold of the female and began drumming on her abdomen soon followed by the first insertion of his embolus. After he pulled bact for a little bit then took hold of her again.

(3) The male inserted his second embolus into the female.

(4) After the second insertion the male then left the female and she returned back to the bottom of her web.

Now I just gotta wait 4 weeks or so and see what happens.

Absolutely SUPERB pictures! Wow those OBTs are just so pretty. Wishing you the best of luck that they mating went well, and that you'll have LOTS and LOTS of P. Murinus in the future. :)

He produced another spew web withing a week i was lucky to catch him doing it most of the time you never see them build one and they destrou it straight aftwards. Most people wait about 2 weeks before trying to mate again. Try putting your male in with the female if he starts drumming then hes full of sperm again if he doesn't then remove him for later. But keep an eye on him so that the fem doesn't attack him.

Don't power feed her too much though. normal crixs will do. some T's can take a year before they drop sacs some will drop them in 4 to 6 weeks

if you have seen him doing a sperm web then he's ready to go again you can try them and see what happens if the female was mated sucessfully the 1st time though she may not be interested a second time.

Even if you havent seen him do a sperm web try him just incase.

I don't know for sure about the female not being interested a second time if she was mated scusessfully the 1st time but my females have not been interested a second time round so I guess if the are sucuessfully impregnated then they woun't be interested.

I wouldn't worrie about your B vagasn they are quite easy to breed. I would probably remover her from her burrow and put her into a more shallow enclosure with an artifitial hide as if you have to remove the egg sac from aburrow it may prove difficult.

Sometimes the male will only get one insertion. Try hime again later with the female again. It usually takes about a week or two for the male to buils another sperm web.

You can feed the male and female when ever you want. The male however usually eats very little but the female should eat like a pig. But ont over feed her too much. Remember she is eating for a few hundered babies now.

Because 1 it sppeds up an on comming moult.

2 I've been told by other breeders that it may be possibale that too much food forces them to lay the eggs too early. But I'm not too sure on this one.
