Well my little P. murinus is bigger now and is bolder now. Not agressive at all but at least he does'nt run and hide whenever I touch the kk. Usually I pop the top to feed him and he's gone. The other day I saw him in the wide open sitting on the silk and had my camera ready. I eased up the lid and he actually stayed put! No threat display, no jumping at my face!
My first pics of him not buried in clouds of silk.

I think i might get a few of these soon. Im slowly getting more and more attached to them, but they are not anywhere near the top of my "sp. to get list" even though they are pretty.

good pics btw. I love it when my T's come out from hiding.

beautiful. I have two 1/2" slings, but they are showing only a little color now.

This time next year they will be 3 inches.

I got my two as 1/2-3/4 inch slings last november. Now I have an almost 4 inch female and a 3 1/2 inch male.

Thanks for the comments! Here's a shot the day I brought him home back in January. I think he was just about 2.5" then. The pic is grainy as I took it without the flash, but you can see he had recently regenerated his L1 leg and still looked pretty rough. Amazing what a couple of molts can do.

My P. Murinus are definately the favorites in my collection. And I have to agree with NB, too many times T's become "boring" by everyone's standards just because they are inexpensive or over-bread. Poo on that, I've never seen a spider with such brilliantly contrasting colors as a OBT. The black against the orange.... absolutely stunning.
