P. metallica

Now that the first shipment of P. metallica are sold, does anyone know how many were imported and how many of those were male/female.
I'm really curoius to find out what the numbers were.
Also, does anyone know how many clutches of spiderlings there have been in England and when the next shipment will arrive in America? I'm hoping to got one of those spiderlings.

I think 50 metallicas was imported to the US market, cant remeber where I got that number from. Dont know how many clutches there have been, but according to Hendriks there are 4 breeders of the metallica in Europe, him being one of them.

From what I heard 45 ish or so came over with the majority being females.

43 came into the country. There were more females brought in than males. This is because they have adult females over there and need the males alot more than the females. Someone else on the boards may be able to explain a little better, but I'm not sure if he want's to be named or not.....

They are a predominantly blue and grey Poecilotheria species.
