My little P irmina molted about 2 weeks ago. And she got the typical coloration with this molt. I love this species :) She is about 1". I made up a new cage for her and made it to take some pics...
Here she is...

Nice pic. I love Suntigers, unfortunately I was really hoping for a female with the first one I bought but it turned out male. Beautiful species. I bought a second one at 1" and i really hope this one turns out female.

peace

Hm, strange.
You say yours is about 1", mine is about 1.5" (2.5cm is 1"), and it still has those yellowish bands on its legs. So I guess yours has to be somewhat bigger then 1".

I measure the size in bodylength, from the beginning of the carapace (without the chelicerea) to the end of the abdomen (without spinnerets). That's what I read is the standarised way of measuring up here... Don't know if that's right...

I have seen it most commonly done by lagspan. Don't know if that's the official way or anything but that's just what I see most.

If you measure from leg 1 to leg 4 on the opposite side (measure diagonally, basically) that's what I believe most hobbyists go by.
