So I have 3 young P audax ladies, one of them molted recently and the other day she came out after recovering from it. I fed her her first cricket since the molt today. I was looking at her just now (altho its night time so IDK why she's even out lol) and her left pedipalp is LITERALLY not there! It's just gone. I wasn't really paying attention to this because shes small, so I don't know if it happened during the molt. She attacked and ate the cricket just fine, it did struggle some, but she did it. Is it possible the cricket could have bit off her pedipalp?? Or you think it happened from the molt? She doesn't seem to be sick, or hurt, or anything, she moves around just fine.

It could have been the cricket, but my guess is the molt. Either way, I don't think you need to worry about it. If she's not obviously bothered, she'll be perfectly fine without it. Regardless of the cause, it'll grow back in her next molt :)
