I found my P. audax lying on the ground legs completely splayed and not moving, I poked him with a paintbrush and he was unresponsive, its been 15 minutes and he still hasn’t moved. Is he dead? He is not in a death curl? Does anyone know what happened or if I can save him?

Do you have pictures? That would be more diagnostic. Doesn't sound good if they didn't respond to being nudged though.

Could it be overfeeding? I accidentally fed him two large meals in a row earlier this week. Usually if they are full they save it for later but could he have got two full of fluid and thats why his legs are pumped out like that?

Unfortunately it does seem like your P audax has passed. They don't always curl when they die, curling is a result of a lack of moisture in the body and extremities. I am truly sorry for your loss. Jumpers are so personable, it is never fun to lose one. Keep at it though and don't lose hope, it sounds like you were keeping them properly and with lots of love, with spiders that is all we can really do.

Thank you, unfortunately its been 12 hours and he is still like that so it looks like he isn’t coming back. Careless error on my part and I will be much more careful in the future.
