hey everyone, lately iv noticed my tarantulas opisthosoma has been getting very large, it covers about 3 times as much surface as her prosoma, iv never seen them quite this big but i have been feeding her alot lately, i know tarantulas will stop eating if they eat to much but she keeps taking the crickets all the same, should i be concerned about all this? thanks!

stop feeding her for awhile... like till her abdomen shrinks to aobut half it's size... maybe she's gonna molt soon.

what species of T is it?

definitely stop feeding her, she could go at least a month without eating at that size and still be healthy!

You refer to the tarantula as "her" so is there any chance it is a wild caught female? Maybe you will get lucky and have an egg sack....
