[Tongue Flicker]

I was about to get a pair of adult axolotls today from my local pet mall but they were out of stock, to my dismay. So i went home disappointed with a week supply of superworms & crickets, a pack of laterite, a bottle of malachite green, a big bag of wood shavings and a glass enclosure for my new tarantula at hand. Better luck next time! Lol

Of course this day won't be complete without the antics of my golden skinks. Ursula and gang doing a boss monster attack simulation. Whoever said role-playing games are just for humans? Lol

gotta love skinks. I love how curious they are, very similar to teiidae in behavior. (i believe they actually share ancestry, if i can remember correctly)

Cool, always nice to see some pics. Skinks I've had act like that until I take them outside. I'm interested in that carpet too, does it puzzle together like that? It looks like an inexpensive, DIY, way to put down some flooring.

They are like neighbors who love to gather around and gossip. I love how smart they are when they analyze how to capture a prey target and how dumb & clumsy they are in executing their entrapment plan lol

Haha thanks! Yeah skinks are very pretentious lizards. One minute they're all cute and bouncy the minute you turn your head, they're gone lol

And yeah the puzzle carpet mats are indeed cheap and easy to clean!
