Our New Non-Arachnid Baby!

meet "dizzy," a 3 month old terrier mix we rescued from the local shelter.

we're starting to suspect she has some shepherd in her... but her feet don't suggest that she'll get much bigger.

if she grows, she grows.... but we'll just have to wait and see.

she's been here less than a day, and she's already learning to sit and to let us know when she has to go out to the bathroom. we couldn't be prouder.

Sounds like a smart dog. Don't forget to teach her to beg at the table and to let her sleep in bed with you guys at night.

we ignore her at the table.... she taught herself to beg, but we'll discourage that one.

on another note, she does lay on our bed, and takes supervised naps with us.

Yeah from the looks of it she could get big if she was a terrier/shepherd mix, and she will love to play catch and chase squirrels.

wanted to post new pictures, so everyone can see how she's grown. She was about 13 lbs when we got her, and she's probably teetering around 17-18 lbs now (but a couple inches taller).

she's over 5 months old now, and everyone loves her ears.
