Our new Kitten Ragamuffin!

Thanks to Julie (Endora) Martin & I got a new kitten on Wednesday. His name is Ragamuffin (those of you who know the Lenore comic books will get it).

Big Kitty (Lenore) did not like her little brother at first (there was a lot of hissing and general pissy behavior the first day)... but this morning they were playing together so I think he is growing on her :clap:

That is just so sweet!
The pic with your older cat really shows the how small your new kitten is lol. It has done well to settle so fast, which is the advantage of getting kittens over older cats I guess.

A few months ago I had mentioned to Julie (Endora) that we were thinking of adopting a kitten from the SPCA... but she said that her brother's cat (I think :? Julie, if you read this help me out ) just had a litter of kittens, so we decided to wait and take one of his instead.



Ragamuffin is doing well at home so far. He uses the litter box like a big boy, but he had a little accident on the kitchen floor tonight... but he is so darn cute that I couldn't get mad at him . He and Lenore are playing more now, one of those jump out from behind the corner and scare the crap out of each other games. It is pretty funny to watch. You can kind of tell that Lenore would like to wrestle more, but she always stops short of actually pouncing on the little guy.

You should try to get another kitten so it will have a more proper playmate. It would help him develop and it would provide much more stimulation than you or the other cat can provide.

By the way Amanda. I finished the comics in 1 day I couldn't put it down. I love it.
Ya it was from my brother's girlfriend's kittens. It comes far. lol
I just love that sleeping pic, well actually he is cute in all of them. Too bad you can't see how blue his eyes really are.

That's nice you adopted him. Usually they say kittens are great playmates for older cats that get overweight and are bored. But I think they will get along better and keep eachother company.

Ragamuffin weighs 1 pound.

This morning Lenore and Ragamuffin were playing/wrestling. Then Muffin started crying loadly, so I ran in to check on them, thinking Lenore was hurting him... but what I found was that Lenore had him pinned down and was cleaning his butt! LOL! I can just imagine Muffin yelling "NO! I don't want a bath!" I tried to get a picture, but Muffin got away from Lenore before I could get the camera
