nice spider but i also think what you have here is Ornithoctonus auerotibialis!
in the picture you can see the orange hairs on leg I present.O.sp.Surat thani does not have these hairs to my knowledge.

just the word of the seller. since he's a reputable dealer (Arachnoporium) and not some Petco manager, i figured that i'd trust his ID.

either way, i'm happy with what i got.

mine was too lol, which is why it was funny....no worries. they do look sick, so i wasn't so disappointed

about what size do O. aureotibialis completely get the yellow fringe on their legs? my spider is roughly 4 inches and the few hairs you see are all there are. i'm just calling it "Ornithoctonus spp." for now.

i'm positive it's a female, though. i got a decent look at her underside when she reared up at my paintbrush.

well mine looked like yours before it molted and now the hairs are much more visible

i see. thanks, i guess i'll be able to tell next molt. won't be for a while, though, since her fangs are red.
