Oriental beetle color variation found

My first one found, pretty hard to find these in the black variation.

Here's a normal colored one.

I only encountered these once - I was visiting a researcher in Illinois who was new to a large country home/small house farm, and had a small plague of them.

They were all black/dark as I recall.
