I have a beautiful orb weaver that hangs outside one of my windows. While im super excited to have these babies outside of my house, im kinda freaking out thinking about them hatching and getting in the house. Im assuming mom is going to die before they hatch..? If i wait until she passes, can i move the egg sac?

I wouldnt move it. We have some on our window screens and they disperse rapidly in the breeze. I have never seen them end up inside. Depending on the type of orb weaver and egg, you would likely crush it.

I agree that it's nothing to worry about, and probably none of the spiderlings will get into your house.
SO, there's no good reason to move the egg sac.
However, egg sacs weigh almost nothing, so you probably can move it unless you're REALLY weak :)

Orb weavers. Some rely to varying degrees on the mothers web for food and protection until they disperse or balloon. Tough decision moving the sac away from that nursery.
