opinion's on shipping reptiles

hey there just thought i would get some opinions on shipping reptiles ( jacksons chameleons ) 2nd day air do you think would be fine or bad idea any input would be great thanks cheyenne

I would not do it. With reptiles I have always shipped next day delivery.

I wouldn't do it with that species of chameleon, especially considering the current weather conditions. Some other species might be fine for 2nd day shipping once the weather is consistently warmer, but I still wouldn't try that with that species.

thanks for the input guys just curious how do they make it all the way from africa im sure it takes at least 2 days to arrive in the us ? thanks cheyenne

When chameleons (or other exotics) do "make it all the way from Africa" you only see what can sell.

Many may have died on the way...or died rather soon afterward...while "animal traffickers" just didn't tell.

Please do your homework before you buy.

Or sell.

Or ship.

It makes a big difference.
