I'm looking for opinions on the Olympus Tough TG-6 digital camera for macro and general invertebrate photography? Just for personal use, nothing professional.
I got one and I think it's good for the price. My canon camera with extension tubes and a ring light on a 400mm lens works way better but is more expensive and isn't necessary for your use. I don't think you can control the light of flash which makes it difficult in low-light conditions. I recommend using another light source that's more controllable (even a flashlight at different angles). I also like that it's usable underwater and has a focus stacking feature (though I've never used it). I'll add some of the better pictures from it.
