Oooth thread

Hi. My Ghost mantis just deposited her 1st ooth and she seems to be having trouble detaching the last thread. Should I help her before it hardens?

Well I know you're supposed to leave them alone for a couple of days after they lay an ooth but she didn't seem to be getting anywhere after several minutes so I took a chance and cleaned her up. She even lifted up her wings slightly so I could get it off her rear. She just had a fly for breakfast and as soon as she swallowed, in flew Qwinn.
