My largest JCP girl is coloring up quite nicely. Just wish the flash wouldn't bleach the color so much.

Beautiful snake. Have you bred this female yet?

Not yet. She's still a year or so out from being ready to go.

Just my opinion, but I think these are the BEST-looking of pythons! I also learned firsthand about their nippy nature from Benzo48's little one the other day. I took the snake out without a hitch and had been letting it roam through my fingers for a couple minutes or so before it bit me without any warning. It kinda reminded me of those black racers in Florida in that respect. I've never handled one of those without 'em biting me at least twice. I'm guessing they're a better candidate for observation-only, but would be well worth it for that alone!

Nice. Around 10-12 years ago I had a female JCP that looked identical to the one in your photo. And you're right, the photos don't do them justice. I sent her out to Casey Lazik on breeding loan and I was lucky enough to get my share of the offspring from the 2nd breeding season that Casey had her. Absolutely drop dead gorgeous snake!!! Unfortunately for me I didn't keep any of the hatchlings long term and I surplused most of the python species that I was keeping about 8 years ago...

I would certainly be interested in a couple of pairs of hatchlings from this female if the male that you breed her with looks anything like her!!

Good luck!
